About the artist
With a lifelong passion for painting, drawing and wildlife, Linda Stockman-Connors creates detailed, realistic portraits of animals and birds. She conveys both the image and the essence of her subjects. Working primarily in oil and acrylic paints, she has created a body of work that exhibits the beauty of the animals in their natural habitats.

A New Jersey native now happily residing in Northeastern Pennsylvania, Linda studied art with several well-known artists including famed illustrator Peter Caras at the duCret School of Art in Plainfield, New Jersey. Active in local art circles as a painter and teacher, she has participated in numerous juried exhibitions in both New Jersey and Pennsylvania and has won numerous awards as well as having several solo exhibitions.
