Become a Steward:

Do you live near or frequently visit one of our nature preserves? Sign up to become a steward, and you can help us by monitoring for trail obstructions, invasive plants,  litter or dumping problems, and any other problem areas you may find. Stewards are a valuable asset to PHLT, providing consistent vigilance to help maintain the integrity of our nature preserves.   • Land use: Stewardship, trail blazing and maintenance, GPS, surveying or map-making
  • Labor: Carpentry, metalworking or other construction; chainsaw use
  • Events: Teaching classes, leading guided walks, tabling, assistance with events
  • Arts: Photography, video production, writing, journalism, editing or proofreading
  • Marketing: Website or graphic design, social media, public relations, outreach projects
