Trip to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area
with avian expert Jackie Speicher

Saturday, March 5

All Day (9:30AM - 4:00PM)

Every year, massive flocks of snow geese make a spectacular show at the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in  Kleinfeltersville, PA.

Our tour group, led by avian expert Jackie Speicher, will look to identify snow geese and other waterfowl along the roads and waterways. We will meet at Willow Point Pavilion at 9:30 AM for a talk on snow geese and migration with Environmental Education Specialist Brandt Porter, then continue touring the area by car and light walking the rest of the day. The Visitors Center will also be open from 8:00AM - 4:00PM, if you arrive early or need a change of pace. Dress in layers for changing weather conditions, and bring binoculars and a lunch for this all-day trip. We will explore the area until around 4:00PM, but you are welcome to leave early or stay later if you like.

Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area is located  at the following address:

100 Museum Road
Stevens, PA 17578
