Fall migration | Credit: Hawk Mountain Sanctuary

Meet us at 10AM on the mountain! We will explore a range of trails and lookout points for observing hawk migration, starting with an easy hike to the South lookout, with the option to continue on a more adventurous trail towards the North lookout.

Bring a lunch, water bottle, binoculars, appropriate footwear and whatever else you might need for the day. Weather will likely be windy, so dress in layers. We will plan to stay until about 3 or 4 PM.
Per Hawk Mountain policy, no pets are allowed; trash is carry-out only.

Cost to enter Hawk Mountain is $10 for adults, $7 for Seniors (65+). Pay in exact change when you arrive, or pay online in advance here and bring your printed receipt. You may also want to bring spending money if you’d like to shop in the gift shop.

Masks are required for entry to Hawk Mountain Sanctuary. In an effort to maximize COVID-safety, PHLT will not provide carpooling to Hawk Mountain. Attendees are welcome to carpool together with people they know if they feel safe doing so.

We will coordinate the meeting site by email on Wednesday evening, so please pre-register below.
