If you would also like to attend the group trip to Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area on Saturday, March 5, please RSVP here.

Every year, hundreds of thousands of birds migrate through Pennsylvania. Among the most boisterous migrants are flocks of Canada and snow geese who call loudly as they wing their way overhead.

In March, thousands of snow geese congregate on the farm fields in the Lehigh Valley and along the waterways of south-central Pennsylvania. Our discussion will lead us to an ideal location with both farmland and open water: the Middle Creek Wildlife Management Area in Kleinfeltersville, PA. Join us for an evening talk about snow geese and other species moving in large flocks through the region. We will concentrate on how to identify the geese, and any ducks that may be mixed in with the flock. This talk is in preparation for our trip to Middle Creek on March 5th - but anyone is invited to join in this fun and informative Zoom session!
