On Wednesday, November 14th, 2018, Join PHLT and Brodhead Trout Unlimited in the effort to keep our beautiful stream habitats clean!

Don Miller conceived the design of a recycling receptacle to collect used fishing line, specifically designed for use along Pocono creeks and streams.

.

"The purpose for this device is to remove the hazard of improper stream side disposal of tangles and short scraps of used monofilament fishing line. These large and small tangles and tiny monofilament bits of non-biodegradable (but completely recyclable) plastic are a hazard to wildlife when left in the environment along streams everywhere fisherpersons pursue their hobby", explains Miller.

.

Attend this workshop to learn more about the importance of these wildlife saving devices, and help construct these containers that will be installed among popular local fishing spots by Spring!
