Our local Pocono area abounds with natural waterfalls. This is primarily a function of the geology and glaciation and the many beautiful, wild headwaters streams that significantly shaped the landscape of the Poconos. "The shaded topographic base layer beautifully highlights the incredible terrain in our wild places, and makes our unique Pocono Escarpment from the Lehigh River to through Jonas Mt. and Tank Creek/Devils Hole and the Bushkill Palisades to the Millrift area of the Delaware River above Port Jervis really jump out of the map." ~ Don Miller
