PHLT and Pocono Bike Club
Bike Ride for Conservation 2018
Discover the beauty of the Cherry Valley National Wildlife Refuge on wheels as we cycle along the Cherry Creek getting a close-up view of the nationally significant ecosystems near the Kittatinny Ridge. We will explore the interesting fauna and flora and break for picnic-style lunch at a beautiful nature area. This is a guided adventure and helmets are necessary to ride. This event is made possible by Pocono Heritage Land Trust and Pocono Bike Club which supports PHLT’s land protection efforts in the Poconos.
Donation: $20 per rider.
Haven’t been on your bike lately? There’s still time to prepare. Advanced Registration is required.
Date: Saturday, May 12, 2018 (rain date Sunday, May 27th, 2018)
This is a 20-mile (loop) ride with an option for a shorter ride of 13-miles. Both rides will include rolling hills and ride on country roads. We will be followed by a sag wagon for rider safety and support.
